So the week started off similar to how last week ended. A delayed flight and interesting travel stories..
In the mist of this ongoing frustration I finally found time to grab a copy of Steve Jobs' book!
Trick now is finding time to read it!
Your wondering why I am wasting your time with this.
I often say the best part of travel and life in general are the people you encounter!
With that said, The lady at the book store was a "character" to say the least, without prompt she proceeded to tell me about how great the book was and she herself gave a couple copies for Christmas gifts.
The week prior to our chance encounter she followed up by asking her Dad his thoughts on the book? She was surprised when he noted that "he didn't realize Steve was such a prick".
She then followed by explaining how she probed her Mother on the book as well. Yet she wasn't has surprised when her mom noted; "that Steve Jobs reminded her of her Dad".
Yes, I laughed out loud in the store! Not sure what was better, the story or this interesting and out-going lady!
Regardless another encounter with a stranger that was worth every second!
CARE, enough to meet new people whenever possible.
